Going to Six Flags was on my to-do list since the freshmen of college.
And I finally! made it to Six Flags!
Looking to go?
Here are 11 things you should know before going to Six Flags!
1. Check the city.
I did not know and accidentally purchased the Arlington Six Flags instead of San Antonio. So I had to drive extra hour. So make sure you always check which city you are buying tickets for!
2. The tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE!
Yes, if you purchase wrong ticket, too bad. They won't give your money back. Take your time and purchase the right one!!!
3. Every city has different operating hours, discounts, & so on.
I don't know why, but yes. Check the hours before you go there!
4. Parking Pass: General Admission $20
5. Go Early
I am not sure during the weekdays, but during the weekends, there are a LOT of people!
As you already know, it will be crowded, sweaty, and hot. So try to go early as possible.
6. Eat food in certain hours
We all know there are few places to eat inside the amusement park compared to the number of people there. I figured you should eat food in these times rather than at 12pm.
The times I recommend are 10-11 am or late 3-4 pm. 12pm lunch hours are way too crowded, you have to wait minimum 30 minutes to order your food.
7. Waiting Time
Every thrilling and exciting rides has a waiting line of minimum 1 hour. And the funny fact is, these are 1-2minutes long! So, check if this is worth it, because or less, you will be riding only 1-2 rides with the ticket you bought.
I rode Pandemonium, New Texas Giant, and Texas Sky Screamer. We did not have time to ride other rides because each wait for these rides were 1-2hours :( New Texas Giant was my favorite though!
Utilize the map! You can find it in front of the entrance.
It will help you guide through your way in the park.
If you are a roller coaster lover, there are approximately 20 rides that you will enjoy.

Turn on your location and you will find several nice Snapchat filters to use! :D
11. Gift Shop
Although I did not buy anything, it's a good place to chill and look around!
