When weather is sizzling hot, it means outdoor grilling season! What are you cooking this summer? There are many popular BBQ ideas like brisket, pork and chicken to choose from but today I want to share pork burger with Korean kimchi BBQ pork rinds recipe. This pork burger is so flavorful, you must to try! I had a great opportunity to share this delicious recipe at KRPC-TV. Watch it here.

Here are the ingredients you need to make this pork burger:

- 1 lb (one pound) of ground beef
- 1 sliced onion
- Southern Recipe Small Batch Kimchi BBQ pork rinds (⅓ cup or more)
Instead of regular breadcrumbs, we are going to spice it up with these unique and internationally-inspired pork rinds. See here to choose from more bold pork rinds flavors. Southern Recipe Small Batch pork rinds are high in protein, low in carbs and make a great keto-friendly snack.
- Beer (we are going to simmer the bratwurst and onions). I just went with Bud Light, but feel free to use IPA beers for extra flavors!

- Bratwurst (German Sausage)
- Bacon
- Salt & pepper
- Pilsner mustard (this gourmet mustard is very rich in flavor)
- Pretzel Rolls

There are two cooking methods for this recipe. You can either serve it on the burger pretzel bun or hotdog pretzel bun.

Cooking Method For Burger Pretzel Bun:

1 - Place the sliced onions and bratwurst in beer of your choice and simmer it until bratwurst are cooked through. This will take about 30-45minutes.

2 - Meanwhile, we are going to cook the ground beef. Grill the round ground beef under medium heat for about 25-35 minutes each side. I cut it in the middle so it would cook thoroughly.

3 - Crush the Korean Kimchi BBQ pork rinds. Once you seasoned the ground beef with salt and pepper, you are going to sprinkle the pork rinds on top. Using simple spices like salt and pepper will work for this recipe because there are a lot of flavors going into this pork pork burger.

4 - Don’t forget to cook the bacon in a separate pan. Once the ground beef is done, slice the bratwurst into small pieces and onions add on top. Also place the crushed kimchi bbq pork rinds as well as cooked bacon and pilsner mustard.

5 - Serve everything on the burger pretzel roll. I’ve used these bacon flavored toothpicks to put all the ingredients in place. Some of the side dishes that goes well with these are baked beans, corn on the cob, potato salad and pasta salad!

Cooking Method for Hotdog Pretzel Bun:

1 - Place the sliced onions and bratwurst in beer of your choice and simmer it until bratwurst are cooked through. This will take about 30-45minutes.

2 - While that is going on, we are going to cook the ground beef. Grill the ground beef under high heat for about 25-35 minutes.

3 - Crush the Korean Kimchi BBQ pork rinds or any flavored pork rinds of your choice and mix it with the ground beef along with salt and pepper. Using simple spices like salt and pepper will work for this recipe because there are a lot of flavors already going into this pork pork burger.

4 - Don’t forget to cook the bacon in a separate pan. Once the ground beef is done, slice the bratwurst half. Place the sliced bratwurst on the hotdog pretzel bun, and then onions, crushed Korean Kimchi BBQ pork rinds, and cooked bacon. Spread pilsner mustard on top.
