This is that type of hotel where you don't want to share with anyone, because only you want to know about it. Definitely a gem near upper east side in New York. Hotel Elysée is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a luxurious, four stars hotel with quiet and elegant ambiance with top service, Hotel Elysée is the answer.

Library Hotel Collection (LHC) hotels are located in New York, Toronto, Budapest & Prague. Some of the other LHC hotels in New York are Casablanca Hotel, Library Hotel, and Hotel Giraffe. Hotel Elysée New York also has an American restaurant called The Monkey Bar. Here are some other cozy and quiet restaurants & bars in New York City.

This is the lobby. Checking in was a breeze, the concierge helped carry our luggages as soon as the Lyft dropped us off. The front desk staffs were welcoming. If you haven't noticed, the red velvet stairs leads up to the second floor, where the lounge is located. It's open to everyone and it's for continental breakfast (7:30-10:00am), refreshments, and wine & cheese reception.

On the left of the second floor lounge, the biscuits and fruits are available. All of the biscuits are tasty but my favorite is the rectangular biscuit with different shapes. They are butter-flavored and soft. If you love tea, Hotel Elysée have assortment box of Twining & Celestial tea. Different types of coffee are available as well. On the right side of this station, there is wine & cheese station available from 5-8pm. Hotel Elysée lounge is very spacious and well-decorated with classic art. On the right of the lounge, there is THE library and a small office space.

Here's our view on the way to our room. Out of all, my favorite thing about hotel Elysée was probably the interior design. Everywhere I turn, I see framed art, the lamp design, vase design, & patterns. These weigh heavy for me when I choose a hotel to stay in.

We got the deluxe queen room with a view. The deluxe queen bed is perfect for two people. I absolutely love the classic elegant vibes in Hotel Elysée. I almost didn't want to leave because the bed was really comfortable and this whole princess room was calling my name. I was thinking how I would actually design my room like this but with a larger size of everything. It's really cozy with the lamps. The floor carpet felt very fresh and clean.

The housekeeping lady who was on our floor was very friendly. Checking on us if we need anything and making sure we had enough of everything! (since we didn't get our room cleaned during our stay) In the room, there are a lot of snacks in the fridge which you have to pay for. But for amenities, Library Hotel Collection offers most of them for free, just like Marriott.

The bathroom was sized okay, wish it was a bit bigger. I really liked their water pressure in the shower and the sink. For the shower, the hot water comes out right away and pressure is just right.

Hotel Elysée by Library Hotel Collection is between Murray Hill and Upper East Side in New York. Definitely walkable distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center & Fifth Avenue. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in New York over the past years, Hotel Elysée by Library Hotel Collection stays in my top 3. Overall, beautiful hotel in and out with courteous front desk staffs. Definitely coming back next time.
