From international festivals to food festivals, wine festivals and art festivals, there are so many things, you will finish this year with fun-filled events. Check out these fun 5 fall festivals in Houston. 1. Turkey Leg Hut Fall Festival Turkey Leg Hut is launching their first-ever fall festival and block party in third ward. If you haven’t heard about this restaurant, Turkey Leg Hut is the new hot spot in town with their mouth watering turkey legs. Celebs like Drake, Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown loved it. On October 13th from 11am - 4pm, the fall festival will be at Almeda Road between Wichita and Arbor Streets. If you like food and music, check out this fall festival with local restaurants around! See here for more food festivals in Houston. 2. Korean Festival Houston Every year around fall season, there are a lot of international festivals in Houston. This is the 11th Annual Korean Festival and more than 40,000 visitors will be here to celebrate this fun event. The delicious dumplings above is by Pling, a new Korean-style bite sized dumpling, coming to Montrose Houston by the end of the year. Pling will be at this Korean Festival! Who else is excited? On October 5th, from 10am to 8pm in Discovery Green, you can expect a great weekend of amazing food, interactive games and special guest performances. This is a free event. 3. Bayou City Art Festival Downtown Houston I’ve partnered with them last year as well as this year to share this fine art festival in Houston. This is a fun & creative event! Located in downtown Houston, from 10am - 6pm on Saturday the 12th to Sunday the 13th, you get to meet more than 300 artists from around the country and check out their beautiful exhibitions. Pumpkin Fest at Cornelius Nursery If you are looking to take some cute fall photos with pumpkins and scarecrows but don’t want to drive out to the countryside, Cornelius Nursery is the perfect place to go to. Both Voss (Houston) and Katy Cornelius Nursery locations are having a pumpkin fest on October 5th. This fun-filled festival includes free activities like pie pumpkin decorating, costume characters, gift card giveaways and more! If you’d like, check out their “Cornelius Designers Present: A Festive Fall Tablescape” only for $25 from 10am-2pm. During this workshop, you get to create a custom fall centerpiece with the help of Cornelius designers!
5. Water Lantern Festival If you are looking for a fun night in Houston with your family and friends, Water Lantern Festival is perfect. You will have an amazing and peaceful experience at this festival where you design your lantern and witness the magic of lanterns as they light up the water!
