Can’t believe Halloween is in few weeks. Who else is stoked? It’s never too early to start baking your spooky gooey Halloween appetizers. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Whether you enjoy baking at home as a hobby, you are inviting guests over to your home or you are bringing these adorable treats to their homes, I’m glad you are here. These cute and cheap Halloween desserts are perfect.
1. Spooky Monster Cookies
How adorable are these spooky monster cookies? With these eye ball candies, you can make so many cute Halloween desserts! At least four dessert recipes on this post use these candy eyeballs. Get yours today and start making Halloween monster treats. For the spooky monster cookies, just add black food coloring on your cookie dough. You can go with other colors like green or orange to make your own monster cookies.
2. Peanut Butter Spider Cookies
I hate spiders but how adorable are these peanut butter spider cookies? It's a fun perfect addition to your Halloween appetizers. Surprisingly these are easy to make and super cheap too. All you need is to make the cookie, add some Reese's peanut butter cup on top, place the eyeball candies, and finally draw the legs with melted chocolate from the icing tube. I would probably use this icing tube and buy different tips so you can be creative with it. Don't forget your pastry bags!
3. Apple Teeth
This Halloween treat is probably one of my favorites just because it's healthy and super easy to make! All you need are apples, preferably green, and peanut butter and macadamia nuts. If the macadamia nuts are too healthy for you, you can switch them out for some marshmallows. But anyway, apple teeth are the best Halloween treat, even for kids!
4. Monster Eyeballs Rice Krispies Bites
Another fast and simple but cute Halloween treat is these monster eyeballs rice krispies bites. All you need are three ingredients, rice krispies, food coloring and candy eyeballs. Mix the rice krispies in the bowl and make it a ball shape. You will have to buy them, crush them, and then make it round. Using melted marshmallows as a sticky connector will help. Then add some food coloring, any colors you'd like! Then, finally using the candy eyeballs, add them onto the rice krispies, and there you have the monster eyeballs krispies bites!
5. Devil Meringues

All you have to do for these devil meringues are adding food coloring which are black and red so it turns out to be a devil. For the meringue decorating tip, you should the most basic O shaped for this Halloween appetizer.
6. Nutter Butter Mummies
If you like nutter butter crackers, great news! You can easily make mummies with the nutter butter crackers. Melt some white chocolate, I normally use these candy melts - and spread some "threads" it on the nutter butter crackers like a mummy. Then, add the candy eyeballs on top of the white chocolate before it gets cold. There you have it! - A fun and yummy Halloween appetizer.
7. Gummy Worm Ice Cubes
Gummy worm ice such a fun way to decorate your Halloween drink. All you need is an ice tray, water and some regular gummy worms. Put one or two gummy worms in the ice tray and then add water. Then put the ice tray in the freezer until it freezes. Finally, add these gummy worm ice cubes into your drink! These are perfect for last minute Halloween appetizers since it's super easy and cheap.
8. Ghost Popcorn Balls
If you like popcorn, this is THE Halloween appetizer idea for you! Mix popcorn and melted marshmallow in a bowl to form a ball shape. Melt some white chocolate and brush them on top as if you are making a ghost. Finally add those eyeball candies on top. This recipe is almost similar to monster eyeballs rice krispy bites!
