We are in November now and Thanksgiving will be here in no time! From planning to cooking, there are a lot of effort and labor included. If you are like me who doesn't feel like cooking for the dinner and baking for desserts, don't worry. There are plenty of restaurants in Houston that will be opened for Thanksgiving! Just a heads up, many of these spots are filling in quickly so I suggest you start making reservations before it's too late. So with that said, let's get right into these 15 Houston restaurants to dine in this Thanksgiving.
The Dunlavy is known for their beautiful interior in Houston! Have you been? They are cooking up a traditional and vegan Thanksgiving feast this year! This one isn't for dining in, but you can pick up your Thanksgiving turkey, sides, quiche, and pastries for Thanksgiving brunch! Traditional Thanksgiving Feast serves about 8-10 people for $250 and includes cranberry pear compote, buttery mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie! The Vegan Thanksgiving Feast serves 2 people for $65 offering you butternut squash stuffed with wild rice herb stuffing, Texas wild mushroom gravy, sourdough boule, mini vegan pumpkin pie and many more! Rainbow Lodge is popular for romantic restaurants in Houston! Have you been? They will be having a 3-course menu which is $60 for adults and $45 for children. Appetizer choices include trio of wild game, smoked duck gumbo or autumn lettuces and gorgonzola salad. For entrée, you can choose from wild game duo, grilled tenderloin filet, or Southern-style roasted turkey. Warm croissant bread pudding, chocolate pecan pie and gluten-free lemon pie for dessert! How delicious.
If you haven't already, you need to check out Bloom and Bee, the restaurant located in the only 5-star Post Oak Hotel. Their service and food are exceptional! Bloom and Bee was also featured in most beautiful restaurants to dine in Houston. For this Thanksgiving, you can enjoy a four-course meal featuring butternut squash bisque with maple cream, pecans, pumpernickel croutons, and chive oil. Fall Salad with kale, Brussels sprouts and seasonal greens, dried apricot, green apple, crispy shallots, stilton blue cheese and champagne vinaigrette. Turkey Dinner. Ending with variety of miniature desserts.
Cru Food and Wine Bar has some delicious stone-fired pizzas. You will be surprised by their beautiful wine cellars and the cozy vibe they have. Make sure you are at Cru early since the parking will be crowded. For this Thanksgiving, you can enjoy a 3-course dinner for $42 per adults and children under 12 will having half-off. Starting with warm basket of freshly baked bread for the table, some entree choices include roasted turkey breast, seared diver scallops, filet mignon, and herb-crusted scottish salmon. If you are over 21, you will be welcomed with a glass of Angry Orchard Rose Cider at Cru Food and Wine Bar.
On the 22nd of November, Oceanaire Seafood Room is offering a traditional Thanksgiving menu for $39. The dinner includes oven roasted turkey roulade, stuffed with savory sage cranberry stuffing with mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry chutney and vegetables. Their regular menu is also available.
You just gotta love this place! They have a cafe on the first and the dining room on the second. The cafe will be offering the a la carte menu and the upstairs dining room will offer a prix fixe menu. It's $95 for adults and $45 for children ages 5-12. The main course is your choice of oven-roasted organic turkey; pan-seared halibut, beef tenderloin, and foie gras.
Are you ready for some traditional Thanksgiving Feast? You will be served roasted turkey, soups, salads, stuffing, casseroles, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, cranberry sauce, pies and more. It will be $29.50 per person.
This cozy bar in hotel Sorella in Citycentre will also be participating in Thanksgiving. Chef Anna Amaya has put together a homemade $35 three-course lunch offering fresh apple salad with cashew dressing, smoked brisket, green bean casserole, glazed turkey and sweet potao creme brulee.
At Roka Akor, you will be offered a multi-course gourmet holiday inspired Thanksgiving menu for $75 per person. Full dinner menu is available as well.
Did someone say complimentary mimosas? You read that right! 1600 Bar + Grill in Hilton Americas will offer omelets, chilled shrimp cocktail, turkey, salmon, prime rib & ham carving station for this Thanksgiving dinner. Can't forget the award-winning desserts you will be tasting. It's $55 per person.
Before diving in, I must say, The Tuck Room's interior is full of art! Looking for a great option for anyone who loves traditional holiday turkey buffets? The Tuck Room will be having a spread includes actions stations, with chefs carving slow-roasted prime rib, house-cured honey-baked ham, and herb roasted turkey with natural gravy for $58 per person.
Get ready for White Oak Kitchen + Drink's 3-course holiday Thanksgiving dinner for $45. It will include ribeye, roasted turkey, salmon, and Mexican hot chocolate! Sounds delicious! They are located in The Galleria mall.
This Mediterranean restaurant located in Hotel Alessandra will be offering fabulous 3-course meal for this Thanksgiving brunch. Lucienne offers complimentary valet parking and the Thanksgiving brunch will be $55 per person.
Have you tried this Italian restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown? This year, Quattro is offering both Thanksgiving Brunch and Dinner. Soft drinks, water, coffee bloody mary's and mimosas will be complimentary throughout the courses! The Thanksgiving brunch will be held in locations: Quattro, Vinoteca, Ballroom and Austin, accompanied by beautiful live piano music. Start off your Thanksgiving dinner with selection of curated meat, artisan cheese board and salad. You can choose from butternut squash soup, cacio pepe risotto or roasted heirloom beets and goat cheese for appetizers. Entree includes maple glazed turkey roast, traditional barollo braised short ribs or sun-dried tomato crushed red snapper. Desserts are available as well.
Main Kitchen is located in JW Marriott Downtown Houston and they will have hand selection of holiday favorites with hints of international flavors and technique. The a-la-carte menu will be featuring roasted quail and apricot bread pudding, prime rib and pancetta brussels sprouts, braised mustard greens and many more.
