Going out to that new opened restaurant near you might be a fun experience, but cooking at home and channeling your inner beginner chef skills are even better. Today I have 10 delicious and easy homemade recipes I want to share with you guys. These homemade recipes are all step-by-step so feel free to follow along. Hope you enjoy these delicious and tasty homemade meals!

1. Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta
creamy-chicken-mushroom-pasta-recipe

I used linguine but you can use any pasta noodle. First, for the chicken breast. Season both front and back with salt, pepper, garlic powder and parsley. Put aluminum foil on the baking pan and put the seasoned chicken breast. Circle some extra virgin olive oil on top. Bake it under 425F for 15 minutes or longer if needed.

Meanwhile, chop mushrooms and onions. Adding veggies like onion really makes the pasta savory. It's also a good excuse to eat more veggies if you are not eating it. Boil the pasta in high heat until it's 95% done. Pour out 90% of the water and leave 10% in the pot. Add the chopped mushrooms, onions, creamy alfredo, the chicken (chop it, and alfredo sauce. Mix all of them for about 10 minutes in medium heat. Finally add some parsley on top with cheese or red chili pepper if you like it spicy.

2. Fried Pork with Kimchi & Rice

High in protein, delicious and healthy meal for lunch and dinner. Perfect for meal prep as well. I pan-fried the pork. Use salt, pepper, creole seasoning, and garlic powder to season the pork. Pan fry the pork in medium heat because if you cook it under high heat, it will burn. Make sure you have the food thermometer handy. This is important when cooking meat because you want to make sure the temperature to be in a safe eating zone. Poke the thermometer in the thickest middle part and see if the temperature is high enough. Once it reaches 140F, cover the entire pan with aluminum foil and let it sit till the temperature reaches 165F. Add some rice and kimchi to pair it along. Frying kimchi in olive oil adds up the taste as well.

3. Egg Salami Toast with Nuts & Fruits

This breakfast toast is very easy to make. I use this toaster which makes my whole morning breakfast routine faster than ever. Once the toast is ready, cook the egg you want and add some salami on top. I always make my breakfast egg as sunny side up but you can make it scrambled or any you want. I also seasoned the egg with salt, pepper and parsley. It's optional. Lastly, I added some nuts and fruits to make this breakfast a healthy and balanced one. Eating fruits & nuts also keeps you full for a longer period of time. See what I normally eat in a day here.

4. Breakfast Egg Toast with Strawberries

Another easy breakfast toast to make. With the same toaster, I toast my bread. Then, I add some egg and paired with some strawberries. You can change it up my putting peppers in the egg or cheese and use any fruits like pineapple, watermelon, or oranges. Here are some more breakfast ideas.

5. Tomato Basil Pasta with Veggies

For this pasta, I went for more of a simple version. You can use any pasta sauce, I normally go with the brand Barilla or Prego. First, boil the pasta in high heat. Once the noodles are 95% done, put the veggies in. Here I used the frozen veggies (corn, peas & carrots). You can use non-frozen ones, chop them and add them too. Putting the veggies in the same time as the pasta adds some flavor. Once the pasta is cooked, pour out all the water. Finally, add the sauce and other herbs or cheese. Cook them under medium heat for about 5-10 minutes. This way the sauce will soak into the pasta. And you are done!

6. "Everything Fried Rice" - Created By Me

I'm proud to share my fried rice creation with you guys. I even named it as, "everything fried rice" since pretty much "everything" is in here. But it's very delicious. Following are the ingredients, spam, imitation crab, cucumbers, eggs, sesame oil, green flying fish roe, sweetfish roe, and rice.

First, chop the spam, imitation crab and cucumbers into small squares. Then, pour some olive oil on the pan, and add the chopped spam and imitation crab. Leave the cucumbers on the side. Next is to crack 2-3 eggs and stir it in a bowl. Then, pour the eggs on the pan as well. Cracking eggs and stirring in the bowl first makes the egg perfect for fried rice rather than directly cracking on the pan and trying to mix it there. Under medium heat, mix all the spam, imitation crab, and eggs. Eggs should look like scrambled. Add the rice and add 2-3 swirls of sesame oil. Then add green flying fish roe and sweetfish roe. Adding roe makes the taste even better. Mix everything and finally add the cucumbers on top. You can watch me eat this "everything fried rice" here. It's also good to eat with roasted seaweed.

7. Fried Shin Ramen with Cheesy Rice Cakes

This homemade dish is one of my all time favorite noodles to make. You might or might not have tried shin ramen before, but it's pretty much the most coom spicy Korean ramen. You can buy it here. It's the same way you make that but with less water and less spicy powder. I bought some cheesy rice cakes from Hmart but you can use the regular rice cakes. First, you boil the ramen like you do but add the rice cakes in together. Add the flakes too. Within 5 minutes, pour out all the water and then add the spicy powder (the one that comes with it). But please add only a half instead. If you put the entire powder, it becomes too salty. Then, mix the powder along with noodles and the cheesy rice cake. There, you have yourself some delicious homemade fried shin ramen. Feel free to add more ingredients. I tried adding clams and it was so good! You can watch me eat this dish here.

8. Spam Cilantro Egg Fried Rice

This fried rice is super easy to make and if you like cilantro, this homemade dish is for you. Chop the spam and cilantro. Also, crack some eggs into a bowl and mix it. Once the pan is heated, under medium heat, add some extra virgin olive oil, spam, rice and egg. Put the cilantro when it's almonst done since it doesn't really have to be cooked under the heat. Cilantro is for the flavor. Mix it well and add some sesame oil.

9. Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce

Easy meal to make for lunch or dinner. Pretty much grill shrimp. Grilling adds the most flavor but if you can't, you can boil it or pan fry it. Once it's done, add cilantro on top, squeeze some lemon and dip the shrimp in the cocktail sauce. This plate is so yummy. If you want it to fill you up, add some rice. Here are some more homemade dinner ideas.

10. Cheesy Tater Tots with Ketchup
cheesy-tater-tots-homemade-recipe

Another delicious and savory meal to make. All you have to do is bake the tater tots in the oven. For half of the regular bag size, about like 25 tater tots, set the timer for 18 minutes under 425F. To melt the cheese, you can add mozzarella when the timer is on 16 minutes. Once it hits 18 minutes, take it out of the oven, and pair it with some ketchup. It's also delicious pairing it with kimchi. You can watch me eat this cheesy tater tots here.
