Since I was 7 years old, I've been traveling everywhere, including different countries. Europe is my next destination. From traveling at a young age, I have learned so many things from packing, budget travel, airport tips, travel hacks, and much more. I want to share the top 8 travel tips you should know. I have included the travel checklist & travel planner below. If you need travel suggestions, check out my cities to travel this summer post. So with that said, let's get right into these 8 useful travel hacks.

Oh New York, this is my 5th time in New York City. This time, instead of staying near Koreatown or Time Square, we booked our hotel near Little Italy to see everything in this area! From New Haven's Milford Station to Grand Central Terminal, we took MTA. It took around 2 hours, which isn't bad at all. MTA is just like Amtrak, but more train-ish, and no Wi-Fi or small tables in front of you. If you haven't read my New Haven post yet, click here to read.
This was actually my first time at Grand Central Terminal. The ceiling interior was nice as well as the view. Grand Central Terminal reminded me of the first episode in Gossip Girl where Serena was back from boarding school! (ahaha) Anyways, I spent 3 days in New York which was another fun experience. So this is a New York City travel guide for you; let's get right into these 12 places!

Right after my 4 days in Boston, I took the train for about two and a half hours and arrived in New Haven. This was my first time riding Amtrak & wow, it was awesome. They had these comfortable seats with free Wi-Fi & charging stations. More, you can see the beautiful views of the wild. Not those common city views, but lakes, rivers, & bridges! I mean is it just me or what?
I see everyone traveling to major cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Seattle, but I haven't really saw anyone traveling to or writing about New Haven! While New Haven isn't the perfect destination for trendy restaurants or cafe, it's definitely an incomparable city to observe the architecture & nature. So here are the top 6 fun things to do in New Haven.
As y'all know, I left to Boston right after my graduation! Check out my graduation post here.
In Boston, I stayed in Hotel Commonwealth. It was more exciting for me because this was my first time in Boston! This 4-star hotel is definitely a great choice if you want to visit all the major districts in Boston; all of them are in a good walking distance. Also, some are within 20 min of drive. Once you enter the hotel, the staffs greets you with smiles, and you will feel welcomed by the decorative lobby. The room we booked was spacious enough for three people. Wi-Fi isn't the fastest, but everywhere you go, they have free wi-fi so no biggie!
Below 12 are the places I visited throughout my 4 days in Boston. 4 days isn't the longest time but I think I have seen almost everything 'first-time' travelers should see. Boston vibe is totally different from Houston (where I came from), which was interesting! So let's get right into it!
Few more weeks & school is over!
If this is your last semester, congratz! If you already have graduated & haven't got a chance to travel, now is the time! If you are not yet graduating, more time to travel for you!
Traveling has always been a hobby of mine, and in fact, I love going around new restaurants, cities, museums, and everywhere! (Traveling or spending time alone is totally fine! Read about spending time alone and its advantages here). The more places you go, the more new things you experience, and the more you get to try new food! (haha) How exciting is that? That's why today I want to share the top 7 cities you definitely should travel this summer. As you can see above, that is my favorite quote on traveling! Once I graduate this spring 2017, I will be traveling the east cities: Boston, NYC (again), New Haven, & Philadelphia. (TBH, super pumped!) I will definitely blog about my trip in my future posts but for now, let's get right into the 7 cities.
