What is traveling if you can't find a way to share your experiences with others? I once read an article where the reason travel accounts are so popular is because we don't have time to travel as much as the professional travelers (who travel for jobs) -- that is why we follow other people's accounts; because we want to travel but can't of work, personal life, or other reasons.
Instagram is the best platform to provide travel inspirations, guide you to new destinations and allow you to visually please. It's funny, I should've written this last year. Anyways.., as you know, I love traveling. I traveled solo to Chicago alone last year for Thanksgiving. Some people might say, why? why do you travel alone? But people who traveled solo would understand how exciting this travel is. First off the best part is that you can do whatever you want. If you want to eat somewhere, you can go eat there without having to negotiate with someone else. If you want to shop longer, you can. The only downside is that you won't have photos of you as compared to traveling with someone else. If you are looking to visit Chicago before 2017 ends or just thinking of traveling alone in the future, keep reading. You won't believe how amazing time I had alone during my few days in Chicago, the windy city.
Have you visited the Houston Heights Mercantile yet? This low-rise urban market district is located between Yale Street and 7th Street. The area is all about dining, shopping, and contemporary lifestyle. Architecture is by the Office Of Michael Hsu who apparently has done some amazing commercial, restaurants & home projects including Houston Heights Mercantile. If you know me, I love art, contemporary feels, unique and uncommon vibes, and exploring new areas alone -- so here are some insights and thoughts about Heights Mercantile.
